| Rounding the lava-formed tip
on the southern side entrance of the Puerto Aventuras Marina entrance, your
eyes will come to rest upon of the most beutiful stretches of beach along
the Yucatan Peninsula. Hidden to many because of its illusive entrances, it
remains the protected and secret playground of Puerto´s residents and
honored guests. First views embrace the glistening hues of the turquoise
waters dotted by white sails or the platforms of sports fishers just this
side of the horizon. Light billowy clouds traverse the crisp blue sky above
as you eyes behold the near kilometer stretch of the beach with its majestic
sentry palms which rustle and sway in the cooling off-shore breeze.
Puerto´s beach is never crowded, according to
American standards. It´s quiet , affording the pleasures of tranquil yet
scenic relaxation. The water is shallow and warm and provides excelent
snorkeling out to and around the reef. it´s not uncommon however to see fish
swimming nearby as you seek respite from rays of the sun. you´ll see
anything from schools of small fish to foot long , slender needle fish.

| Puerto aventuras is the only full- service between Cancun
and Belize, and the only mainland marina on the mexican coast line that can
handle large boats . It has moorings for boats ranging from 10´dinghys to
150´luxury yatchs. larhe mono.hull sailing yachts to small trimarans, and
luxury sport fishers to local open pangas, not to mention its own Cozumel
ferry. Nearby waters offers world-renowned deep sea fishing and are hailed
as one of the top 10 spots in the world for flats fishing.

Golf |
| The Club de Golf Puerto aventuras is an exciting and
chalenging golf course. The 9-hole, par 36, course that was designed in 1991
by Thomas Leman is still one of the best - kept secrets of the area. its
fairways and greens are covered witha soft Bermuda carpet grass and
surrounded by palm trees, bougainvilleas, tropical ficus and other
exhuberant vegetation. On the same round, you may come across iguanas, deer
and diferent species of tropical birds and other local fauna. This golf
course promises a new and chalening experience for the players as they enjoy
the beauty that surrounds them.
Phe pro-shop offers a large selection of golf paraphernalia, refreshments
and rentals. You can also purchase special weekly and monthly green fees, as
well as three month, six month and yearly memberships. a golf cart is not
mandatory and reservations are not necessary. |
